Santa's Lost & Found
A quick fun little platform-puzzler with a festive theme for the Spectrum.

Some presents have managed to fall off Santa's sleigh as he rushes around delivering on Christmas eve. Help him get the right present to the right house in time for Christmas.
- O/P - Left and right
- Q - Jump/Climb Up
- A - Go Down Chimney/Climb Down
- M - Pickup/Drop Present

Very nice Christmas game, I added it to the video of other Spectrum games released in December.

Might I suggest to upload the project here too? Or is the game and project included in the Kwyll release already?

kwyll 37 - The Making of "Santa's Lost & Found"
For some reason I can't get this to work on "The Spectrum" using the original ROMs. Just crashes out for me.
I've just tried it on mine using the Retro Games Ltd. ROM and it works fine. I'll try with the original ROM, can't see why it would be an issue.
Edit: Seems to work fine with the Sinclair 48.rom too. Although I'm running with v1.0.0-electron firmware, so probably should update at some point.
Will remove the 48 rom from my usbstick and give it another go, thanks!
*update* It must be the electron firmware 1.03 that stops it working, neither the retrogames rom or the original zx spectrum ones appear to let the santa game work using the latest firmware.
I've just updated mine to 1.03 and it still works fine, so I'm not sure what is going on with yours. I've tried with and without the 48.rom, with and without extended colours, can't think of any other setting to try to see what might be causing it. Have you tried a factory reset?
EDIT: PS. make sure to try the latest version from here, so we're testing exactly the same version.

Love it! Great little showcase for Kwyll, I think.
I downloaded the .tap file and ran it on a 48k emulator. The only issues I had is that the display for the presents didn't reset after I completed the game (when I restarted the game, it still showed collected presents in the display) and also the 'well done' didn't stay on the screen long enough! I think I may have pressed a key by accident, so maybe, if it's set to disappear after pressing a key, you could add a delay so you don't miss the message?
Really enjoyed the game overall, thanks for the Christmassy fun!
